All Schwab record safes have passed severe fire endurance tests and bear Underwriter Laboratories' 350 - 1 Hour Fire and Impace Resistant Label. This means that the safe's interior temperature will remain below 350°F (well below the char point of paper) upon exposure to temperatures reaching 1700°F for one hour.

It also certifies that Schwab FireGuard Safes will survive a drop during a fire of 30 feet into rubble, such as a fall through burning floors.

Schwab record safe interior components are constructed of welded steel and finished in attractive, durable air dried enamel paint. They can be grouped in avariety of functional arragements.

All items come standard with a key lock offering adequate protection.  However, If additional security is needed, the following locks may be chosen.  Selecting an optional dial or digital lock will convert any cabinet into a safe.

This lock serves as dual security whereby a three-digit combination lock won't operate until the key lock is opened. Additional customized locking options are also available.
