CANTON, Ga., December 8, 2010 - On December 1, 2010, Canton-based Belnick Inc. dba, hosted an employee pot luck luncheon for charity. Inside Sales Representative Susan McClure and Executive Assistant Patti Greco organized the “Souper Wednesday Toys for Tots” lunch in the spirit of the “Season of Giving.” Employees volunteered to bring in a soup, stew, or chili to share with the company. Any employee who wanted to eat lunch was asked to bring in a new toy in the original packaging (not gift wrapped) to be donated to Toys for Tots.

“With economic hardships continuing to hit families throughout Georgia, our BizChair team decided to host this charity luncheon to help those less fortunate children in need,” said President Gary Glazer.

“Toys for Tots was the perfect charity to allow us to share happiness and give gifts to children during the holidays,” said company founder and CEO Sean Belnick.

The luncheon was a huge success with 15 employees bringing in Crock-Pots full of soups, stews, and chili. Crock-Pots were filled with Tuscan bean soup, loaded potato soup, chili, sweet potato and corn soup, chicken and rice soup, taco soup, pizza soup, vegetable beef soup, hillbilly bean soup, Brunswick stew, chili, and 3-bean turkey chili. Cornbread and crackers were brought in as complements to the soup, stew, and chili.

Most employees brought in toys to donate and ate a warm bowl of soup, stew, or chili with the company. Toys donated included toy pick up trucks, Transformers, Hummers, a Bop It!, Play-Doh, baby dolls, a My Little Pony, a Little Mermaid doll, a Mulan doll, brain benders, a play firefighter kit, several stuffed animals, and boxfuls of other toys. Those that were unable to bring in toys for Wednesday’s lunch had until Friday, December 3, to donate to’s Toys for Tots campaign. All toys collected by Friday afternoon were taken to the Toys for Tots collection center in Marietta.

“Thanks to all of the wonderful donated toys, we’ll be able to make this a very special Christmas for lots of ‘tots!’” McClure said.
